This week we turn our attention to one of the most important films of this century and the rich chronicle of humour that is Tommy Wiseau's The Room. We sing to each other to rate the film, Rob shares his thoughts on the different types of bad films, and we pay tribute to one of the true masterpieces of cinema.
In this episode we discuss the most romantic film of all time, The Notebook! We also have a conspiracy update on the nonexistent earth's core, come up with some ideas for new Saturday Night TV shows, and talk everyone's (least) favourite cartoon posh Tory, Jacob Rees-Mogg.

In this week's episode we discuss the film that inspired the creation of the controversial term 'Manic Pixie Dream Girl,' Cameron Crowe's Elizabethtown. Can Rob put aside his nostalgia for the first time he saw it? Can Paddy get past his dislike of Orlando Bloom's wooden and insincere face? Is the whole film just a ruse to fulfil Crowe's desire for a scene in which a band plays Freebird while a cardboard bird is on fire? All will be revealed within! We also discuss the new Great British Bake Off, and Donald Trump's skin.

It's our first Royal episode, and boy is it a treat! We watched the 2011 made for TV movie, William and Kate: The Movie, based on our very own, possibly reptilian, royal family. There's also a Flat Earth update (#globexit), talk of Shia Labeouf, and a fun discussion of the terribleness of the British tabloid press.
On this episode we discuss the 1999 high school rom-com She's All That, we cast the female lead in our film Sensations, Rob talks for a long time about Paul Verhoeven, and we round it off with hypothetical situations in which foul things are consumed on pizza.

We made it to ten episodes! In this episode we discussed The Bridges of Madison County, a slow and lumpen nineties film starring Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood. We also discuss the truth that the earth is flat, and add a lot of stretch goals to our ongoing Sensations project, plus follow up on the previous episode.

In this episode we took our podcast back to the sixties and watched the classic film Barefoot in the Park, starring Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. It was recorded in the middle of the recent UK heatwave, so we somewhat deliriously ended up talking a lot about Star Wars and Daniel Day-Lewis.
In our ninth episode we discuss the 1989 classic romantic comedy Say Anything, which neither of us had seen before. Did we weep when John Cusack held the boom box up? We also discuss hot dog vaping, and get serious about our plan to turn The Godfather into a musical.
In this episode we discuss the teen comedy Easy A, continuing the Emma Stone theme. It's familiar to Rob but new to Paddy, and it's all about reputations. How can we get ourselves a bit more notoriety?
In this episode we dive deep into Paddy's problematic fave, La La Land. Rob has issues, Paddy has dreams. Can we reconcile over a doughnut burger?

In our fifth episode we celebrate the arrival of British Summertime with a lively discussion of the offbeat comedy (500) Days of Summer, in which Joseph Gordon-Levitt wears a hoodie with a shirt and tie in approximately 60% of his scenes. Bold move.
In our fourth episode we discuss the classic 1998 film You've Got Mail. Despite it being dated, we agree that it holds up well and has some killer lines, and is a good example of Nora Ephron's screenwriting genius. Sensations expands its cast to include James Brolin, Liev Schreiber and Charles Grodin, gets itself a title sequence, and moves towards becoming a full cinematic universe. #EscapeTheHotDogMines
In our third episode we discuss the popular 2011 film Bridesmaids. Rob loves it, Paddy is less enthusiastic, but we hit some good points. In our second episode we discuss the 2007 cult classic Waitress, written by and starring Adrienne Shelly in her last film before her tragic death in an unprovoked attack.
